LAVINIA JANNESSON

The work Wormhole revolves around the idea and various aspects of time travel. The cut out signs and symbols are inspired by a traversable wormhole, which in theory would be stable and large enough for a person to be able to travel through. The sculpture was temporarily installed hovering above a pond in the garden surrounding the Dutch renaissance-styled Marsvinsholm castle, built 1644-1648, located near Ystad in the south of Sweden.
